Terms of service

Would You Swipe It for Shopify · effective 31 October 2026

These terms apply between the operator named below ("we") and the Shopify merchant who installs Would You Swipe It ("you"). By installing or using the app you accept them. Shopify's own terms continue to govern your Shopify store and billing.

1. The service

Would You Swipe It adds a swipe-card way to browse your store's existing products, with category navigation, filters, size and taste memory, optional promotions and optional shopper feedback reports. It reads your catalog and navigation through Shopify and adds products to Shopify's normal cart. It does not change your products, prices, orders, theme code or checkout. You can turn it off at any time in the theme editor; your store keeps its normal product grid.

2. Plans, trial and billing

The app costs €5 every 30 days or €50 per year. Prices exclude tax; Shopify adds any applicable tax. Each store can receive one 30-day free trial with its first subscription. All charges are approved by you in Shopify and billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. You can switch plans in the app: moving to the yearly plan applies at once with Shopify's proration; moving from yearly to monthly starts when the paid year ends. You can cancel at any time by cancelling the subscription in the app or in Shopify, or by uninstalling the app. Fees already billed are not refunded except where Shopify's billing rules or mandatory law provide otherwise. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a new price applies only after you approve it in Shopify.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your products, images, texts and promotions shown through the app, and confirm you have the rights to use them. You are responsible for your storefront's privacy notice, cookie and consent settings (the app respects Shopify's Customer Privacy API) and for complying with the laws that apply to your store. Do not use the app to show unlawful content, to mislead shoppers, or to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

4. Data

How the app processes store and shopper data is described in our privacy policy. Feedback and saved likes live in your own Shopify store. For personal data we process on your behalf we act as your processor, following your instructions given through the app's settings, Shopify's data protection terms and the privacy policy.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. If the app is unavailable, your store continues to work with its normal navigation and grid. We may improve or change features; we will give reasonable notice before removing a core feature you pay for.

6. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if required by Shopify or by law, or if we discontinue the app, in which case we give at least 30 days' notice where possible. After uninstall, data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its code and design remain ours. You keep all rights to your store content. You give us the limited permission needed to display your content through the app while it is installed.

8. Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the update; if you do not, you can uninstall.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator is established, without affecting mandatory rights you have under the law of your own country.
